our thoughts are influenced not only by what we consume online, but also by the structures through which information reaches us. processes of simplification, misinformation and the economic logic of digital platforms increasingly effect our understanding of the world. by assembling found footage sourced from the internet and combining it with interviews, ‚fractura‘ exposes the fragmented landscape of contemporary media culture and invites viewers to reflect on the question: how do digital media influence the way we see the world?
through interview-statements, montage, layered imagery and specifically composed music, the film constructs a portrait of the times we live in – times defined by overlapping crises, constant connectivity, and an overwhelming flow of information. the dense visual language mirrors the experience of navigating digital spaces, revealing both the complexity and the contradictions of life in a globaly connected society.
